Financial Controller

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Tasks:
• Coordinates local finance departments (Flushing, Antwerp, Utrecht)
• Timely preparation of financial reporting of internal statements (IFRS) and statutory financial reporting (Dutch & Belgium GAAP)
• Ensures adequate follow-up of CAPEX projects
• Executes all corporate policies, procedures and processes within the department
• Liaises with external auditors and other third parties on matters related to financial control and accounting on a regular basis or on an ad-hoc basis as required
• Supports CS team with overdue AR collection
• Performs ongoing cost reduction analyses
• Coordinates annual budget process
• Supports commercial projects and prepares business models
• Supports corporate and terminal management with different ad-hoc requests and projects
• Coordinates corporate income tax filing process
• Invoicing clients (Dutch terminal)

Knowledge level:
• Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations/standards
• Knowledge of relevant tax regulation
• Financial risk management

Education: Master Finance, Accounting

Desirable: 3 years relevant work experience

Computer Skills:
• Experienced MS Office
• ERP (preferably Navision)

Languages: Dutch and English
