Do you want to work with powerful machines, right in the heart of the port, and play a key role in smooth container operations?
As a Crane Operator at Katoen Natie, you’ll be responsible for loading and unloading containers from vessels using our impressive Mantsinen 300 crane. You’ll also have the opportunity to operate the reachstacker. No two days are the same – and that’s exactly what makes this job so exciting and diverse!

What will you do?

You’ll operate the Mantsinen 300 crane at our terminal in Hoek, ensuring containers are safely and efficiently loaded and unloaded from incoming and outgoing ships. You’ll work closely with your team to keep operations running smoothly. Depending on the schedule and your flexibility, you may also perform reachstacker duties.

What do you bring?

✅ Experience or certification in operating port cranes (or willingness to obtain it)
✅ VCA Basic Safety Certificate
✅ Full-time availability in 2 shifts:
• Morning: 06:45 – 14:45
• Afternoon: 14:45 – 22:45
✅ A flexible mindset, sense of responsibility, and focus on safety
✅ Interest in operating the reachstacker? That’s a plus!
