Assistant Crewing Manager

As an Assistant Crewing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to to support the Crewing Manager in overseeing all day-to-day crewing operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and readiness of offshore personnel. The role also involves liaising with internal departments, assisting with cost control, and mentoring junior crewing staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing crew changes and rotations.
• Supervise crewing officers and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
• Coordinate with manning agents, training providers, and travel coordinators.
• Review and approve crew documentation and certification.
• Handle escalated crew issues and emergencies.
• Maintain crew databases and ensure data accuracy.
• Support audits and inspections related to crewing operations.
• Act as the acting Crewing Manager during absences.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or proven experience) in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, or related field.
• Preferably a minimum 3 years of experience in maritime crewing operations.
• Knowledge of STCW, MLC 2006, and ISM Code compliance.
