OOS Energy specializes in managing modern offshore drilling and decommissioning units, both floating rigs and jack-ups. We offer complete management services for rig owners who do not have the expertise to operate or maintain their assets. Our activities cover the services required during the energy transition: from conventional drilling projects to plug and abandon campaigns and offshore carbon storage projects.
Job Description
OOS Energy is looking for an experienced and proactive Purchase & Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. In this key role, you will manage the full procurement and logistics cycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services that support our offshore operations. You will also oversee a small purchasing team and drive continuous improvement across all supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement and logistics activities to secure timely, cost-efficient supply of goods and services.
- Support and supervise Purchase & Logistics Officer(s) in day-to-day operations.
- Process and monitor requisitions in the supply chain software programme, including RFQs, MRs, and purchase orders.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure optimal value for the company.
- Coordinate technical and commercial inquiries with suppliers and manage acquisition of materials.
- Build, maintain, and evaluate supplier relationships; identify new vendors when required.
- Conduct supplier assessments and performance reviews (including site visits).
- Ensure compliance with contracts, purchase orders, and service requirements.
- Drive standardization of equipment and spare parts across vessels and projects.
- Oversee all logistics documentation, freight-forwarding, and resolution of shipment issues.
- Provide KPI reporting and regular performance updates to management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote “right-first-time” execution.
Job Requirements
- Degree, higher diploma, or extensive experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 5 years' procurement experience within oil & gas, marine, or similar high-paced industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Analytical and solution-driven, with solid financial and commercial awareness.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and perform under pressure.
- Good knowledge of air, sea, and land transport logistics and INCOTERMS 2020.
- Proficient in MS Excel/Word and familiar with computerized PSCM systems (e.g., SAP, TM Master, Maximo).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
