Job Description

A crewing officer at OOS International BV is responsible for coordinating all personnel activities for offshore vessels and platforms. The role involves planning crew rotations, ensuring all personnel hold valid certifications, arranging travel and logistics, and maintaining compliance with international maritime and offshore regulations.

The crewing officer works closely with vessel management, HR, and external agencies to ensure safe, efficient, and timely manning of all operations. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate crew rotations for offshore vessels and projects
• Ensure all crew certifications, medicals, and training are valid and up to date
• Arrange travel, visas, and onboarding logistics
• Maintain accurate crew databases and planning systems
• Liaise with vessel management, HR, payroll, and recruitment partners
• Ensure compliance with STCW, MLC, flag state, and company requirements
• Respond to operational changes and support last minute crew adjustments

Job Requirements

• Vocational (MBO) or bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, HR, Logistics, or a related field
• Experience in crewing, HR coordination, or offshore/maritime operations
• Knowledge of international maritime regulations and certification processes
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage)
• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
• Service‑oriented mindset and ability to work with multicultural teams
