Ensure all vessels are maintained to the required technical standards and specifications, and promptly advise the Technical Manager of any issues that may impact vessel performance or service capabilities.
Establish and implement effective engineering systems and best practices in close collaboration with the Operations, HSEQ, and other relevant departments.
Oversee the technical management of all vessels in line with the Planned Maintenance System, ensuring all records, certifications, and documentation remain accurate and up to date.
Lead and oversee special projects, dry dockings, and technical studies as assigned by the Technical Manager.
Develop and maintain systems for fault detection, monitoring, repairs, authorization, and implementation.
Draft and update technical procedures in accordance with the Technical Manager’s direction.
Contribute to the annual budgeting process when required.
Support onboard crews by resolving technical issues and monitoring procurement logistics and purchase orders.

Job & Skill Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in the maritime or ship repair industry, preferably with international exposure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Team‑oriented and comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
