Accounting/Finance - Receivable Specialist bij DOW

As a Receivable Specialist in Terneuzen, you will play a vital role in managing our clients' accounts receivable processes. Your keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills will ensure timely collections.

What’s your job about?
You will work closely with other departments regarding the Invoice to Cash side of the organization. This position is integral to the success of the company and business specific cash flow objectives as well as achieving key enerprise targets.
You will be responsible for:

• Being customer A/R main point of contact
• Leading near due and past due collection activities
• Influencing customer payment behaviors
• In depth customer account knowledge
• Active member of account teams
• Leading A/R improvement projects specific to customer account activities
• Focal points for ECC product testing
• Managing account reconciliation including but not limited to offsets, and sales adjustments
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Resolving credit blocks
• Processing returns
• Collaborating with CFS, business partners and other I2C teams including escalation.
• Utilizing payment receipt and handling work processes
• Adhering to compliance requirements for SOX and meet OLAs. Additional activities, including but not limited to tax certificate updates, web portal review and update, document retrieval, and customer contact information updates.

What skills do you have?

• A minimum of MBO 4 or bachelor’s degree (preferably in the direction of finance or economics).
• English and one of the following: Polish, German or French is a must
• Ideally have some occupational experience with Customer Service
