Supply Chain Rotational Program 2024 (EMEAI)

Our location in Terneuzen is Dow’s second largest manufacturing site worldwide, where also our EMEAI service hub is located.  We have more than 50 different nationalities and about 3500 employees working together, of which a significant part is playing a key role in the Integrated Supply Chain activities of Dow. On top of that, the employees are crucial in the development of innovate products and sustainable solutions for our supply chain and customers.

 

The Supply Chain Rotational Program 

The Supply Chain Rotational Program is designed to provide exposure and accelerate the development of the next generation of Supply Chain talents, to bring new ideas and innovation to our company. During the program you’ll get to explore 2 different roles within a 2-year period in the Integrated Supply Chain areas of Supply Chain Planning & Improvement, Logistics Operations or Customer Service Improvement. This will help you gain hands-on experience, broaden your knowledge, find out where your interests lie, and strengthen your professional skill set. 

 

While operating at the forefront of innovation, digitalization and sustainability, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, Procurement and Manufacturing. In this dynamic environment you’ll learn how we manage our international Supply Chain network and set new industry standards.

 

What can be your journey?

Apart from your operational role, the program offers you the opportunity to work on challenging cross-functional projects, gaining additional experience, connecting you with new people and the possibility to find a mentor who will support you to grow during your career.

You’ll be assigned to your first rotation based on the organizational needs as well as your background. During the first year we assess together what could be a right second assignment for your personal development. At the end of the 2-year program, you’ll have the opportunity to transition into one of the Integrated Supply Chain areas.

  • Be part of a community of fellow rotationals who share experiences on both a professional and personal level. 
  • Have a buddy assigned from the program before arrival in Terneuzen for day-to-day support.

What do we expect from you?

  • A recent or soon-to-be master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field.
  • Less than 2 years of professional working experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Talent for data interpretation, problem-solving and improvement mindset.
  • Open-minded and adaptable to an ever-changing environment.
  • Independent and motivated to take ownership and accountability.
  • Motivated to continuously learn and develop yourself.

  • A permanent contract for full-time employment with flexible working arrangements and a budget to set-up your home-office.

What happens next?

  • Application – Submit your application before the application deadline (3rd of May 2024). We’re aiming to inform you within 2 weeks after your application. 
  • Digital interview – Join an exploratory conversation with one of our recruiters to learn more about the program.
  • Assessment Days – If you’re selected to proceed to the next round, you’ll be invited for our virtual assessment days. These consists of 3 interviews, 1 individual case study and 1 group business game, which will take place end of May 2024. 
  • Decision – Within a couple of days of the assessment days, you’ll hear if you’ve been selected for a spot within the program. The preferred start date is beginning of September 2024, exact dates will be defined in agreement with the selected candidates.
